The challenge

When powders stop flowing, production stops

Powders and bulk materials tend to bridge, stick and cake in silos, containers and pipes. The result is incomplete emptying, irregular material flow and production stoppages.

Our ultrasonic discharge systems ensure the complete and gentle emptying of silos and containers in the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industries. Clogging and adhesion are prevented, and we offer customised solutions for optimal process efficiency — especially for hazardous areas.

How it works

Ultrasound removes the friction

  • Excitation

An ultrasonic converter sets the wall of the silo, hopper or pipe into high-frequency vibration — almost silently.

  • Friction removed

At the boundary layer between bulk material and wall, static and sliding friction are largely eliminated.

  • Continuous flow

Even poorly flowing materials slide and discharge continuously — without bridging, caking or clogging.

Your benefits

Higher efficiency, lower costs

  • Complete and gentle emptying of silos and containers
  • Prevents clogging and adhesion
  • Continuous, reproducible material flow
  • Customised solutions for your plant and material
  • Suitable for hazardous areas where specified
  • Increased process efficiency and reduced costs
