By using such a TI paint, unwanted heating in a selected area of the system can be detected at an early stage without having to be in the immediate surroundings. Nor is the installation of extensive security systems needed. It is also a practical solution for valves that are installed lower down or at a height.

The coating is applied directly to the desired area from the outside. After appropriate cleaning of the surface to be treated, the paint can be applied in a two-coat process. This consists of the upstream primer and the subsequent application of the paint itself. If a temperature indicating paint has already been applied, this must first be completely removed.
Detailed operating instructions will come with the coating, as they may differ from one product to the other.
Storage life of the unpacked paint cans is 12 months after production.
Application with primer is necessary and is recommended by both the manufacturer and thenex. A warranty can only be claimed if it is used. If you have detailed technical questions, we can send you a corrosion test report.
thenex is aware of the product-specific handling and packaging requirements (coatings and equipment require hazardous goods packaging) and has settled many shipments to different countries.
thenex secures worldwide shipping. We know country-specific requirements for the import / export of goods. Like any other exporter, we are subject to the global restriction lists and export regulations. This means that the final destination is queried before each order is accepted and the exact end user is required in order to check any export restrictions for both the end user and for country of final destination.
