What it delivers
Our scope
Pilot ignitors by BCE
Usually part of a burner or combustion system supply — also available individually for new systems and the revamping of existing ones.
HE series
Gas electric ignitors and light-oil electric ignitors, with or without premixed air, suitable for continuous operation — plus direct spark ignitors for lighting heavy oil. Available with built-in flame scanners or ionisation rods, automatic retraction drives and power supply units for any environment, including hazardous areas.
| Materials | carbon steel – stainless steel |
|---|---|
| Fuel | natural gas – refinery gas – LPG – propane – diesel oil |
| Combustion air | up to 550 °C |
| Premixing air | instrument / service air at ambient temperature |
| Gas pressure | 0.4 – 0.5 barg |

High energy
Withstands the temperatures inside the wind box (up to 350 °C); the discharge head withstands the radiation and heat close to the burner flame — rated for a maximum surface temperature of 750 °C.
